Living with a Food Allergy Child (Joanne)

Hey Mommas!

I’ve done a video similar to this a while back, but I’m back to give some more helpful hints and tricks (and a few great websites) for those of you who have children with food allergies, or you have a food allergy yourselves!

My daughter was diagnosed with a life-threatening peanut allergy at 2 years old.  Just a small exposure to peanut butter caused her to to develop head-to-toe hives, have difficulty breathing, itchy tongue, and ultimately vomiting.  Scary, I know, especially with a 2 year old!

So, in the last 5 years, I feel like I have finally managed Julianna’s peanut allergy, and would like to share with you some great tips, tricks, and new finds I’ve found to make things MUCH easier! So check out my video:

Here are a few websites I mention:

www.kwfa.org

This was a great blog post, and so true for us Food Allergy Moms!
