I have a 3 minute Salsa recipe that I have used for many many years, and have yet to share!
I’ first discovered this recipe through my mother. My mother always had salsa prepared in her fridge no matter what day of the year it is. Salsa wasn’t anything seasonal, it was something we enjoy all year round.
1 Half Medium Red Onion – You can use other types of onions if you don’t like the taste of red onions
2 cloves of Garlic
Half of Jalapeños ( seeded ) – I take the seeds out most of the time, I like my salsa medium. Add more for own preference.
Handful of Cinlatro – Chopped -This makes the salsa taste “more fresh”.
Tomatoes – (1 small package) I used Cherry tomatoes because they are a firm and sweeter, but you can use any tomatoes.
– About 4-5 Roma Tomatoes
Salt & Pepper to taste
Juice of 2 limes
I like to place all the ingredients in the chopper and let the chopper do all the work.
I also season my salsa before chopping everything, adding the lime juice as well.
I like having my salsa with blue corn chips.
Serves about 4-5 people.
